My main gripe with the pubs reopening. 22:44 - Jun 23 with 3688 viewsBlueBadger

There'll probably be ingenious distancing measures no doubt, what I REALLY object to is the almost 100% gurananteed certainty that the first fortnight of Pubs Open will see pubs infested with Amateur Drinkers who usually only turn out at Christmas and New Year.

You won't be able to enjoy a quiet pint for pricks buying a Something and Red Bull will you?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Shouldn't you be at least as concerned about the amount of work drunks cause your colleagues at [redacted] hospital?

I should start a poll for this, but who is going to 'hit the pub in a big way' on July the 4th?

I'm looking forward to a good pint of cask ale on top form but I'd rather wait for a bit than be surrounded by people going mad at the weekend. Maybe early doors the week after

My 50th on the 6th but I'm going out only if we are outside so where nice. There are a few options but being by the coast it's likely to be mobbed. Should have been in France 😔😔😔

My main gripe is Wetherspoons. They don't deserve good custom given the behaviour of their owner during lockdown.

My other one's that our local's beer garden looks like something you'd make the SAS crawl through on fatigues.

Pales into insignificance really compared the joy of sharing pub space with those in daily contact with covid who seem to have no concept of how it spreads
