Very predictable and boring choice. The VP pick was never going to have much of an effect on this election. No-one who wasn’t going to vote for Biden is now going to and vice verse.
More interesting is that she’s very likely to be the next president after Biden as it’s hard to see how he lasts the whole term, which is an unusual event. Right now Biden/Harris are essentially benefitting from not being Trump so are, on the whole, avoiding much scrutiny that they might otherwise get so if they do win (which is very likely) it’ll be interesting to see how long that lasts for (I expect quite a while). |  |

Humans are largely idiots, we’re facing the collapse of society in the next century (that’s a generous timeframe) with climate change, wealth inequality and mass surveillance. I’m kinda looking forward to it, I’d feel safer knowing the enemies of humanity no longer have the power to rule us using fear of wars, corporate favouritism in law and the endless cycle of money/debt.
I often ask myself these days if money/government became redundant tomorrow because the economies/hierarchies collapsed and we had a chance to start again, what kind of system would we put in its place. I think that’s the key to making a better world. | |

I'm yet to hear a reason why though? All signs point a Trump loss which I know is no genuine indicator but to me it seems likely Biden wins.
I can't see how Trump can have much more than his base left at this point. Plenty of former supporters have turned on him. | |
