If you think the Aidy Boothroyd approach of bludgeoning the game to death is a long term fix for our problems then you’re mistaken in my view. Long ball sides rarely sustain any level of continuity beyond the odd season or two. We need a plan not a short term fix. Kieffer Moore isn’t a long term fix but saying that, we have just signed Hawkins so who knows what PL is going to conjure up this season!? |  |

When you look at some of the very below average players this club "carries"the whole episode regarding Moore was nothing more than a quick buck to be made. We are where we are because of one poor decision after another and that is indicated by relegation followed by another poor season in League One. We should of got rid of the poor players hanging on to this club and we didn,t. |
Such as? Every striker we had at the club when we sold Moore was better than him at the time. |  |

He wasn't given time because he had clubs chasing him (in the league below) and was going to get a big pay rise there so wanted the move.

It is, but I get the feeling some fans think we should have predicted we'd lose all those strikers and get relegated and should have kept Moore because he'd be useful in those circumstances. | |

Well, considering Kieffer Moore was a young player i would of thought he had time to progress. Certainly a big target man but looked bad because of the defensive football we were playing. We spent most of that time with a 5 man defence and a deep midfield chasing shadows. Kieffer Moore could of been a good target man if we played to his strengths. Daryl Murphy had the same frustrations, many games he had no decent service. I was at these games. |
We would of done better playing Kieffer Moore as a centre half.  |  |
