Thought all reports are indicating he’s going to Chelsea?

Equally mental, but I believe he at least has some kind of tie with the club?

I was just reading the BBC Transfer rumours and found the idea of Dunk playing for a top 6 side a bit shocking.

He's a competent enough centre back and I suppose it's another English player for the Champions League quota?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

I always thought he was solid and looked like he could play in the Premier League, I'm not sure I ever saw anything from him that made me believe he could be a regular in a top six side!

EDIT: Fair to mention that over the last 3 years I've seen very little beyond MOTD highlights of Brighton, I was also surprised to just read that he has been capped by England!

Indeed.

I don't see why anybody would want to slam Dunk.

These "home grown" quotas will make a difference. Spurs want to sign Joe Hart as a near redundant 3rd keeper to boost their "home grown" quota & that's why Richard Wright was a registered player at Man City for 4 years, without playing a single game.

His father Mark was one of my footballing heroes. Got sent off playing for Horsham (2 footed knee high tackle), didn't bother waiting for the red card, pushed the opposition trainer into the dugout on his way back to changing rooms before offering to meet them all 'outside' after the match.
