I was reading earlier that around 100 mainly older, mainly black and brown people are still having to work in the Covid riddled White House as butlers, maids, maintenance personnel etc. just because Trump wanted a photo op as he's terrified of looking weak by staying in hospital.
They are expected to risk their lives for very little pay and benefits because of an undeserving narcissist who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

I feel like my work with Paz is almost done. I didn't think enough people noticed his distasteful opinions when they slipped out the first time. You must remember that I spend 8 months of the year on a floating prison, lockdown for me is pretty normal. So when I say your freedom hasn’t been compromised, it comes from a position where I didn’t even step foot on land for 117 days. Countries refused shore leave.
When you walk round Sainsbury’s, you do so freely. You pick up some food and go cook a decent meal. I went down to the dining saloon and was lucky to get something that was edible and wasn’t deep fried.
You jumped on the tube and went to a couple of pubs with some mates. I went to my cabin, got into my w@nking chariot, and crossed that day off.

Whilst I agree with your general sentiments, there are still many people in the UK who really aren't lucky at all, struggling with unemployment, poverty, abject or no housing, ill health etc etc. And whilst many people may take their freedom for granted, not everyone does - many have been confined to their homes for the past 6 months, or have relatives/friends who have been.
