We will keep ignoring that until it is too late again though

Yes it is, you may not have seen that much football though.

It's certainly not where this club should be.

I have seen as much if not more football than most. I live in the present, not the past. We are where we are and can only deal with that.

Better they wish they had got it right in 1 though and not then made the same mistake the 2nd year as well

You are obsessed with last year.

Get over it.

And the 3 seasons before that. I just don't get his obsession with looking back, particularly when there are positive signs (many more than early season last season) for the future in our league performances.

Glad you're happy.

Thing is sport is about achieving and excelling on a personal and team level, acceptance of mediocrity and failure is at 'participant' level.

We are top of the league we are "participating" in. I would say that is better than "acceptance of mediocrity". I wish we were top of the Prem and winning the Champions League on a regular basis, but we ain't, are we. Being a realist doesn't mean I am settling for anything, just that I live in the present day. I would suggest that mine is the healthier.

So that's where the budgies have been going wrong all these years.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

What have this season's glaring issues been?

He doesnt ever say, he is intentionally vague so that when we lose, as I'm sure we will, he can roll out and say he always been saying [reason for loss] and how he's a football genius and when he was in his twenties he was a better commentator than Brenner or something like that

Wonderful stuff. Sending the reply that you want opposed to the one that is true. I have always said what I would change and been consistent in that.

You talk about ‘ignoring’, but how long are you going to ignore the positives from this season, ignoring Lambert has made positive changes this year. Ignoring 5 wins and 1 draw, ignoring 4 clean sheets out of 6, ignoring 13 goals scored and only 2 goals conceded in 6, ignore sitting top of the table.

Just wondering?

Poll: Would you be happy with Paul Lambert?

For me it was a minimum of 17 points from the first 10 which he looks like he will comfortably achieve.
He has to keep this up though and it will be 34 after 20 games and so on.
This should keep us on track for a definite play-off place with a reasonable chance of automatic promotion.
This has to be the absolute minimum for any Town manager at this level.

All the time you lot keep replying to him, he’ll just keep on.
Block him or ignore all of his posts.

But it's weirdly entertaining, and a bit like when you see a bad smash on the motorway, you know you shouldn't look, you know it will be horrible but you just can't help yourself anyway.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Unfortunately, as I've said in other posts, some of our fans are desperate to jump on the Lambert love-in as soon as we get one good result. You're right, it was obvious back in October but it was even more obvious the two season prior as well.
