This is almost as important as the Presidential race.
If this goes to a run-off, it could hand the Senate to the Dems.

If Trump loses the Presidency, Biden will be able to campaign in Georgia in those races, with all the reflected glory that comes from a Presidential visit and endorsement, and explain to poorer Georgia voters the difference Senate control will make to his ability to improve their lives. Add in Kamala Harris, as a young Black woman, to energise key demographics as well.
And Barack and Michelle Obama.
Would Trump even bother to turn up to support the Republican candidates if he loses?
And if he didn't, who else would the Republican campaign managers be able to call on who has real star quality?
George Dubya has retired from political campaigning. Don Jr and Ivanka will be VERY busy shredding documents by then.
I'd feel good about a run off, even with a two or three point head start for the Republicans.
However, if Trump wins then his ego will be sky high, the Trump train will have their egos inflated, and it might feel a very dangerous time to be a Black person at a rally for the President's opponents. |  | | |

No, that may still be all good if we're talking urban Atlanta votes. That would mean he would require >35,000 votes, which is 70%.
Biden has polled 70 to 80% in black urban districts in Atlanta, so should squeak home by a few hundred.
But it will be very, very easy for the Trump campaign to make it look suspicious, which is a very serious problem. | | | |
