I think if there is one thing that PRP has been consistent at it is favouring older players over young players. He could easily be playing Dobra now, likewise he could be giving more minutes to Simpson. He clearly didn't trust Dozzell before and he has had issues with Woolfenden. Lankester is probably his only real success story and partially Downes. | |

I'd agree on Dobra. Everyone else seems about right. Woolfie would've started the season if he wasn't injured and Simpson is a raw 16 year old.

I agree. I was one of those who wanted to give him an extended run. It seemed like there weren't that many of us at the time. Most seemed to think he was a luxury and a waste of a place. | |

Still doesn't make sense, why would he therefore be surprised at him not starting 100 games. Surely he would just think "this guy hasn't started enough games because he doesn't have enough influence"
