What are the odds on Pence being the next President? on 14:11 - Nov 6 by BlueBadger
Given that he's in the process of being voted out of office - very slim?
Biden will only be President elect until he is sworn in at the end of January. Plenty of time for Trump to resign in protest so he is not seen to lose.
Same goes for Harris - country of gun toting nutcases looking for blood, a global pandemic, the fact that Biden is about 100 years old - must be a fair chance he doesn't make it to January

1000 on the exchange
If you think it’s even a remote possibility.. maybe it’s worth a couple of quid at that price
betfair rules on the next president market say they pay out on the result of the election, not anything that happens subsequently. Otherwise I'd be all over it ;)
Trump to leave before the end of the first term is currently at 4.5 which seems much more realistic!

The Pence puppet in the new Spitting Image is rather amusing. Â Never going to beat the original but some of the new clips I've seen on YouTube aren't bad at all. Pence is in this one.
As for the dragged out US Election vote counting, there was a rather good headline in the Metro the other day titled "Make America Wait Again!"Â

He's going to be 78 when he takes office. The life expectancy is 78 in America. At 78 people should be taking it easy, not taking on the world's most stressful job during a global pandemic.

I think he'll gradually let Harris do more & more, while he increasingly takes a back seat. Not 'official' retirement, but getting Harris ready for 2024.

Life expectancy is not a measure of when someone should retire.
This "he is too old for office" is straight out of the Trump playbook. Plenty of prior presidents have been far from young.
In a country with such a high rate of murders, obesity and poverty which all lead to a lower average life expectancy, a fit and healthy 78-year-old is not unfit for office due to age.

No, it's straight out of the blindingly obvious playbook.
He's going to be 82 at the next election. 82. Let that sink in.
