That cassette given away free by a music mag was my first exposure to Teenage Fanclub. Saw them at the 2nd stage at Glastonbury and they still didn't have a recording contract (reportedly). Fan ever since. Weren't Northside also on that cassette. Whatever happended to them?

Was it Select ? I have that cassette. It’s the ultimate version of everything flows. Beats all others.

Select/Vox/Sounds I don't know. I was living in a 3 storey Victorian bedsit house with 2 stairways and 15 rooms and a bunch of pseudo hipppies, ex-punks and new romantics. The drugs squad were frequent visitors.
