Even if it was it’s a bit patronising towards the young players, essentially saying (again) that he’s forced to use them which is causing us to ‘hang on in there’ rather than play better.
If he wasn’t such an idiot he’d realise the reason teams sit and defend their 18 yard box against us is because we take 8 years to move the ball up the pitch so they have plenty of time to get organised, knowing we’re not good enough to break them down without a slice of luck. |  |
