Vaccination rollout bottleneck 15:07 - Jan 7 with 1263 views | hype313 | Apparently there is a bottleneck as people are turning up without NHS number, now I don't have mine, or don't know it, but don't really want to bother the local surgery, anyone know if we can find it on other documents we may have?

You can find it by signing up to the NHS app as well and going through the surprisingly easy process to confirm your identity. I'm due my vaccine soon as a NHS frontline worker and was asked to have my number to take to the vaccination appointment. [Post edited 7 Jan 2021 16:18]

Vaccination rollout bottleneck on 16:22 - Jan 7 with 1068 views | C_HealyIsAPleasure | Looks like you’ve found your answer but I had to ring my (now old) GP’s recently for it when I moved and was registering with another practice. Didn’t seem to be a bother though, took the receptionist approx 15 seconds to pull up my record and read it out EDIT: and would add that ringing them was what the new practice told me to do, so I’m guessing that’s seen as the standard way and not too much of a bother! Vaccination rollout bottleneck on 16:49 - Jan 7 with 999 views | factual_blue | Are you able to book appointments etc online for your surgery? If so, your 'home page' should have your NHS number. It should also be on any correspondence from surgeries, clinics, hospitals etc. There's no way to find it online, so contacting your surgery is the only route

Vaccination rollout bottleneck on 09:59 - Jan 8 with 636 views | Pinewoodblue | Seems to me that the obvious thing if for all vaccination appointments to be confirmed in writing, or by email containing full details including NHs number. Bring/show this confirmation to / at your appointment.
