First time for a few years in SE London that it's settled
In my part of Suffolk, we had a flurry of large flakes for n hour or so that was settling, but at the moment that's already showing signs of turning to slush.
I've ordered her shopping for tomorrow and we were speculating on whether the delivery* would show.
Is it seriously that bad?
She's between Burton and Uttoxeter kinda way. You're a bit further away than that I realise.
Not that I expect your full address on the forum.

I'm about 20 mins drive away. A50 is closed i think. Schools closed, cars stuck and abandoned everywhere, not an exaggeration. Loads near me and all around the area. -5 tonight

Blimey. It always hits you lot much worse I know.
The A50 closed though could be serious and cause a lot of people problems.
Unless the services can get that clear enough tonight many people will be WFH or taking tomorrow off work.
But importantly, anyone needing to travel along there tonight will be screwed, and more so if there are no hotels open.
