So, he had 3 games to save his job 07:37 - Jan 31 with 1455 viewshype313

Apparently, however I tend to believe that Phil and the Archant lads have thier finger on the pulse, so 1 point from 9 in those critical games.

If that 3 game call is true, and I don't believe otherwise, then it should be announced today that we have severed ties, given no midweek game.

Have belief Joe, the end is nigh!

Let's hope one of Cowley, Cook or Dyer arrives tomorrow and we can finally move on in a positive light!

Given the Club are/were looking to add a striker this past week. This is more like further evidence he is continuing to receive support from Evans and less likely he is going.

I hope I am wrong.

I have a horrible feeling this won't be the end. He'll be spinning away to Evans that we held our own against Peterborough and Sunderland and if not for an own goal and an early sending off we'd have got results. He'll spin a draw at Crewe as a good result. He'll play on the lack of fit strikers and other key players only just working their way back to fitness. Harrop hasn't been available yet, and you can bet he'll talk up how much of an impact Harrop would have had if available. I worry we're going to be stuck with him, he's talked himself out of similarly bad positions before.

Although with the transfer window closing tomorrow, and our current lack of striking options, that probably doesn't necessarily indicate that the manager is staying. Hopefully.

Ready! Steady! Cook!

This. Unfortunately don’t think he is going anywhere yet and it still wouldn’t surprise me if he is still here until at least the end of the season.

Same here - it's a completely stupid strategy though, with the salary cap we're going to have a massive turnover of playing staff in the summer, and we really need someone competent in place to oversee that!

At least another 12-18 months.

Evans is not fussed about going up, L1 suits him with the cap he can drastically reduce the wage bill and need to put money into the club.

This club has no ambition and has not for a decade - why are people surprised by this?

ME still obviously believes he can turn it round. I would imagine unfortunately he'll be given the majority of games in February to prove that.

I think a drop into the bottom half will be too hard for Evans to ignore. My prediction gone after the Oxford game.

He is going nowhere. Evans is digging his heels in. He won't be told by the fans anymore.
