An 18 year old needing to come in and hit the ground running in a struggling team that creates fúck all is not ideal and asking him to lead the line on his own will further exacerbate that issue
I've seen him a lot at youth levels, for club and country - and he has a good future. Robbie Keane comments may need to be taken with a pinch of salt though - they butter up their young boys whilst in the set up to try and retain them - there is no chance he'll break Keane's record, no one will for a long, long time as it is sensational. He's basically got 50 more goals for Ireland than anyone in history
But this isn't FM, and anyone expecting a lot out of him is more likely than not going to be disappointed - that's part of being a L1 club now. But this isn't a game changer in anyway |  |
