In my mind if there was no one else available then it would be Dyer and Butcher.

This option is still preferable to Lambert in my view, so regardless of when he is sacked - it will be a positive!

The Hull and Doncaster back to back games look like the last chance saloon - but I have said this before!

Now is the time to act , to give the new man a fair crack at this season before it's too late.

There's no point in waiting any longer , everyone knows PL has to go ....even PL is acting like he doesn't want to be here , so just put him and us out of our misery .

Pearson for me, if he fancied the challenge.

Paul Tisdale and Keith Curle will now be potential candidates.

I would take any of those 3. More than take, be absolutely delighted with.

Of those I've seen linked, the only one that makes me nervous is Neil Harris. Perhaps unfairly, as he did a good job at Millwall and got Cardiff to the playoffs, and the last ex Millwall boss we had did well, but there's something about that appointment that just wouldn't sit well with me.

Cook is still my #1, closely followed by Cowley.

Limiting the selection to those three it would be

1. Cook
2. Pearson
3. Cowleys

for me.

One advantage of sending Lambert on gardening leave *before* we find a replacement is we could give Dyer a shot as caretaker...

I'd take Neil Harris over Pearson, tbh. Didn't realise he'd been linked...
