It is very weird how pleased some people get over misfortunes suffered by former Town players, particularly if they were popular and/or half decent ones.

Conceded 1 goal in 3 matches?

Was just thinking earlier would McGreal be considered to be doing a decent job or not? On the face of it 17th in League 2 is not great but what would the expectation there be?

Stuff the own goal! Have you seen Frank Nouble’s equaliser? Fantastic finish.

Shows how much attention I have been paying to them. I guess it answers the question over whether he was considered to be dong a reasonable job by the man who matters too.

Dear old Frank. He was crap, but you generally liked him.

So League 2 play-offs is not good enough for Colchester, but relegation from the Championship and twice failing to make the play-offs in League 1 appears to be fine for our owner.

I suppose they have similar ambitions for our clubs.

He was sacked last summer.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

And replaced by a manager who had previously managed at Leiston and Maldon & Tiptree. Covid obviously affected the finances, but they are paying for taking the cheap option on a replacement
