Anyone that had a relative played for Town? 12:17 - Feb 22 with 6493 viewsIP4_Blue

My grandad played for Town in the 50's I still got his players pass before he passed away in 2003, remember my dad getting a card signed by Sheepshanks he was so taken back from it

Ths closest I have come to footballing royalty was the day Roger Milla felt the warm of my bum cheeks.

You are the son of Spock? How is John doing?

He's in good form thank you. No doubt looking to get back to Golf when restrictions allow.

Talbot has quite a large family as I understand it - in terms of cousins that is.

Folks 2 doors along from my father are related to him and he visited them occasionally, even played cricket in the street once.

A guy in my brother's year at school claimed to be related to him and switched allegiance to Arsenal when he signed for them. This guy is also the only face I can see and recognise clearly in footage of PO Final 2000

I lived next door to Talbots grandmother whilst growing up, and he lived with his parents (Yvonne and Ernie) further down the rd. 1 thing that does stick in the memory is that one day he was with a team mate (Mills I think but don't quote me) showing off their brand new Renault Fuego (sp) to us awe-stuck kids who were scared to even touch it.
As an aside the Basil Acres shop details are correct, my mum was a regular in the shop getting her budgie seed and food for whatever pet my sister and I had at the time.
TWTD indeed

The son of a friend of mine was at the Town academy a few years ago. He voluntarily quit, because he wasn't really enjoying it & also I guess he knew he wasn't going to be good enough.
