Just looking through the previous 5 full seasons, on average 6th place has finished on 72 points. So effectively we need 25 points from a possible 51 for a top 6 finish.
Winning our game in hand would get us within 7 points of Lincoln in 2nd place with 16 games still to play. However the lowest points total for 2nd place in the last 5 seasons (excluding last seasons PPG) was 85 so we would need at least 38 points from 51. Not totally unachievable but high unlikely. | | | |

4 points from these 2 upcoming games would be a good start and achievable as well. We have been really bad at Accrington recently but on both occasions we’ve had a useless tool in charge let’s see how much Stanley enjoy playing against the more direct version of Town.
