Yep, agree with that.
We need Parrott as Norwood, Hawkins and Sears all have dreadful injury records, so it would be wise to keep him, and actually I think once he really gets going and adapts to the league, he could actually be a key cog in our run in.

I think the real criticism is that we bought a job lot. We probably have needed a full back right from the off and a powerful attacker. Two such would have made a big difference instead of six for positions we already had, at least if some younger players had been given the chance. As someone has said, it's as if we didn't know what we were doing, or how to effect a real difference. | |

Lambert seemed to be using my tactic on Championship Manager 17 - get in as many players as possible, regardless of what areas need strengthening, and see if any turn out to be better than what we already had. |  |

Are we not a better side with him in it? We certainly look more of a threat with him playing rather than not. Is he better than Sears? Yes. Is he better than Hawkins? Yes. Is he better than Drinan? Yes. I'd even say he's better than Jackson. He's certainly helping Norwood with his game which wasn't happening previously. He's not scored yet, but he does so many other good things it's easy to overlook those areas which he does provide added value with. [Post edited 9 Mar 2021 8:16]

We may look better but we are still largely impotent. I think he has played 8 games, in those 8 games we have only score 9 goals, average goals per game 1.125. Average GPG before his arrival was 1.16, so we were actually scoring more goals without him.......slightly lol.

How many chances are we now creating in games since his arrival in the side? Apart from Saturday, I think we can both agree that has improved. Quite a few games before Blackpool at home where we had single figure shots at goal. Also, with Parrott's work rate he gets us higher up the pitch as we get the opportunity to win the ball back in that final third, which we were lacking before.
