So frrom Monday the "stay at home" laws no longer apply. So anyone can leave their homes without fear of a fine.
Still have a legal outdoors max of 6 rule and of course pubs/shops still shut.
So what are you upto next week? Going to visit my Dad for a garden chat. Not too far (35 mins) but I know the 'stay local' guidelines will be interpreted differntly.

We are meeting with two sets of friends on Monday afternoon to enjoy tea, sandwiches, scones and Simnel cake on the patio. Weather forecast looks good.
And then formally organised sporting activity on Wednesday morning.
That said, I do generally enjoy the world being a quieter, nicer place. |

People will be allowed to meet outside, either with one other household or within the "rule of six", including in private gardens
The stay at home rule will end, but the government will urge people to stay local as much as possible
Outdoor sport facilities will reopen, including golf courses and tennis and basketball courts, and formally organised outdoor sports can restart
Weddings can take place, attended by up to six people

I’m on leave next week but not really sure driving 2 1/2 hours to Woodbridge to visit parents garden is in the spirit of staying local!
I might visit one of the more local nature reserves for some bird watching.
Our hockey restarts on Wednesday night and we have games starting from next Saturday ( mostly inter club games, friendlies with local clubs start on the 17th ). |
Our hockey starts next week but not sure if I can be bothered with friendlies, shame the league season was canned as we were flying |  |

Wednesday travelling 20 miles to somewhere different to run.
Will be interesting to see how people view the 'stay local' advise. Give it a week or so and I may travel 100 miles to have a day out at the seaside with my partner.

Last time I looked, the vaccine really kicked in around the three week mark. Might be worth taking it easy until that time passes. You've come this far, you don't want to mess things up for the sake of one extra week. |  |

I expect 10 people will interpret it in 10 different ways. Is only valid for another 3 weeks I think so hopefully shouldn't be too many meltdowns from those who can't cope with the fact some people see things differently to them. | |
