Looking at the potential 6 new teams to come in next season on 14:16 - Apr 14 by SParnellx
Absolutely yeah, I was just going off the OP's suggestions
Very much hoping they pick up the points to stay up, do not want to see them back in L1 with us
I'd love Derby to drop, just as they find their new "owners" don't actually have any money, or idea... As for Wycombe, I think Ainsworth will be recruited elsewhere, same poss of Robins at Coventry. Anyway, we need to start building for everyone to fear us, not the other way round.

In all honesty, I would be more curious about Bolton and Cambridge. Cambridge are really playing some slick football this year, and they are well set for this league in my opinion.
There passing and movement is quite a joy.

Yes, and Wes Hoolahan, so we know what would happen there don't we.....
This season has shown that this league really isn’t that great. We have been truly awful yet are only 5 pts off the P/O’s! Imagine if we’d been able to score goals - with our defense we’d be running away with the league!
I don’t for a moment buy into the rhetoric that we’ll take the league by storm, but with a decent manager, a move away from the lethargic ethos that seems to have gripped the players and some astute additions we really should be expecting us to be in with a shout next year. If we don’t make it then we defo should the year after. In fact, if we’re still in this league after next year and we’re not the team which everyone fears then Cook will be long gone.
I’ve no doubt that these owners and management set up meet business and will stop at nothing to get what they want. They will be ruthless. It might not be pretty, and will certainly have a different feel to the traditional Ipswich way, but I do believe they will get us back competitive in the championship in a few years.

You only have look at how the three teams promoted to the Championship are doing to realise what a poor division we are in.
The gap in quality between Champ & Div 1 seems to be growing at an alarming rate.

Rotherham bullied us off the park in both games last season.
Yes, but that was with this group of players, I'd like to think that if we played them again next season we would have a vastly superior squad, and a competent manager.
But like others have said, they actually have 2 games in hand so could quite conceivably pull themselves out of it and drag Derby into it...
