I haven't missed any but there isn't really any joy and it feels a chore to watch these days. I'm not really a podcast or interview sort of fan but I thought I'd give the KOA Berke Bakay one some time. I've now listened to the whole lot and I am desperate for August, wherever that 1st game is, get there early, sun our faces, have a beer, sing my heart out.....probably lose because we are Ipswich but I can't bloody wait. Let's just get this miserable season done ASAP so that it doesn't keep ruining the positivity

I second that. Reading today's Cook interviews struck a chord with me; he's the type of manager i used to play for. Everything he says is refreshing honest and en point - his football values honest and transparent: desire, dedication, passion etc...

Yeah just want this season done with, it's actually draining my enjoyment of all football to be honest. Fed up of watching the same dodgy passing round the back, followed by the inevitable soft foul putting paid to any meaningful counter attack before the cycle repeats over and over.
Looking forward to seeing the back of a lot of these awful players, and exciting transfer window, and a meaningful pre-season where Cook actually gets to put a mark down with a squad that wants it. i'm hopeful about next season. but to be honest i, like everyone else, has seen it all before. new manager, new players, new strategy, new business plan, even new owner. been there, done that, ended up disappointed. so i hope this is the point when it all comes good, but i'll only believe when it does. |  |

i'm hopeful about next season. but to be honest i, like everyone else, has seen it all before. new manager, new players, new strategy, new business plan, even new owner. been there, done that, ended up disappointed. so i hope this is the point when it all comes good, but i'll only believe when it does. |

You are right, but like all setbacks, you dust yourself down and crack on. It may be desperation or the optimism in me but it feels rather different this time.
With Evans, his peculiar behaviour remaining anonymous, no sponsor, booting out Magilton for Keane, a few signings, it all felt a bit alien. After a few months, it all drained away. Nothing had really changed apart from a mad manager and a faceless owner who even then seemed to be losing interest.
It may go the same way with this lot, but we are pretty much at last chance saloon and something has to change. Evans was killing us. So I’m taking the interest and excitement route with all of this. |  | | |
