UEFA being a bunch of tossers on 14:45 - Jun 22 by abracaDOBRA_ | UEFA thinking they run everything again... shock Munichs stadium they can do what they like |
For the purposes of the match it is UEFA's stadium. Just like the UCL games, UEFA take over the stadiums for the games. National associations/clubs sign up for this when they take part in these competitions.

UEFA wouldn’t dare tell people they couldn’t take the knee or they would be racist even though it also originates from a political protest. It’s lost it’s meaning and effectiveness IMO Football should continue to push its Kick it Out campaign it has done for years [Post edited 22 Jun 2021 17:15]

"Football should continue to push its Kick it Out campaign it has done for years" Yeah because that's worked well, hasn't it. I guess you think it was a success because nobody booed it. [Post edited 22 Jun 2021 17:19]

Ok, true, they do need to improve on their work but in all aspects of discrimination they should steer clear from politics to gain better progress I would have thought

Protesting against racism in football isn't politics really though, is it? And certainly no more political than the Kick It Out campaign. [Post edited 22 Jun 2021 17:26]

Quite ridiculous. This is an example of people trying to defend the indefensible. UEFA's number one interest is financial gain. They could care less about Racism, Homophobia, Slave Labour, Dictatorships, Player trauma and any other moral issue you can think of. Plenty of lip service though once it is UEFA approved. Does not look like they will have a 'Kick Fizzy Drinks Out' campaign.

UEFA being a bunch of tossers by BlueBadger 22 Jun 2021 10:07Look, Hungary's fans create a 'wonderful atmosphere', alright?
For the benefit of the smooth brains out there, taking a stance against bigotry is only 'political' if your 'politics' is completely tied up in bigotry.
The rest of us just call it 'basic decency'.
