If you've been to any of the England games so far, how does the Covid test thing work? Are they just handing them out outside? Or do I need to go and get one from somewhere? On the Uefa website it says they're free so I presume they just hand them out but it's not super clear.

Also, how does drinking beer work when you have to wear a mask everywhere except in your seat, and you're not allowed to drink in view of the pitch?

Thanks!

Mine wouldn't go on the COVID app so I did it on the gov website. It depends which test you take, if its from home or a centre. They then text or email you the result you put in so you have proof that you done it and it was negative. So show them that at the door.

Am going tomorrow so will let u know how I get on with it. But as long as you have proof or both vaccines!

I’ve had both jabs but still did the lft to be on the safe side. Knowing my luck the app wouldn’t have worked!

I know as I’ve had to listen to the bloody thing at all 3 group games.
But as I say on the app it states that you don’t have too and even for the game tomorrow it is giving the same advice. Even the FA have said this with the tickets issued through the official travel club.
Once again just a case of UEFA not knowing what they are doing.

Indeed, in the two games i've been i've only seen one person wearing their mask in their seat.

I know at the Croatia game got to the bag check and the bloke didn’t have his mask on. Steward shouted at him to put it on which he did and then when we got up to the concourse nobody had them on!
You doing anymore games?

Yeah as long as you have the NHS app and get the vaccine trial event screen you're ok.

Wtf is that 30 days all about? In 30 days my vaccination record is still valid...

Wonder if it's cos they are going to do top ups and you'll need to prove your topped up too?

Think it's as much about demonstrating that it's a recent status. The NHS App shows a QR code for the 30 days which can then be downloaded but takes seconds to get a new one.

Yes I bagged my semi final tickets back last night. Originally lost them in the covid ballot along with Croatia and Czech. I didn't get my Croatia ones back but went to the Italy game on Saturday instead. How about you?

Pleased to hear you have got the semi-final tickets back.
I’m doing the game tomorrow and if England did reach the final am guaranteed a ticket through the supporters club as I have enough caps. Not doing the semi should we reach that stage as still haven’t got over Moscow yet. If we win the semi at least I know I will be going to the final and if we lose I can just turn off the tv immediately!

Just taken my test for tomorrow. They hardly looked at my result for the Scotland game and like someone else has pointed on here you can just record a negative response without even taking a test which is mental.

Good luck mate!

I had x4 50euro tickets in my basket for the Germany game last Wednesday (before we knew who we were playing), but can't go because of work, was just testing how easy it was. Very annoying

Do you have to have the app to record your results? Can you do it online and then have a message/email sent to you with your result on?

Going to the final in a couple of weeks and have ordered the tests this morning and just want to be sure on what I'm doing when I take the test 24-48 hours beforehand.

Did it online, you get the web address in the instruction manual.

Text and email sent. Showed the text message to the steward.

You need to get one. I ordered mine online at 5pm and they came the next day. Or you can get one from a walk in site. They take 1/2 an hour to reveal the result. Register the result online to get your text/email and you just have to show the text to the stewards, this is before you even get near the turnstiles.

Don’t have to wear a mask in the concourse when eating/drinking, didn’t wear the mask when at my seat either.

Come to think of it ‘vertical drinking’ is banned everywhere apart from football and it was nice to actually get served at a bar!

Hi mate, is the test you need one of those lateral flow ones that you do yourself, or does it have to be a lab PCR one?

Cheers

Cheers Sitters. I had the pack come through yesterday, and read it in there, so happy days.

Again, as stupid as I am sounding (probably not a surprise to many on here), I presume with the final being on the Sunday, I can log the result any time on the Friday or Saturday beforehand?

No, there is a blaring message out of the PA system every 5/10 minutes saying you must wear your mask at all times.

I was there yesterday and that’s no longer the case. As the matches at Wembley are now test events you don’t need to wear your mask when sat at your seat.

Excellent (not that anyone did anyway)

Do you think there were 40,000 there? Looked way, way, way more on the TV.

https://covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk/

You can also get a CV "passport" (As in proof of vaccination) using the above rather than the NHS app.

A certificate sits on your phone and can be used as proof of vaccination.

No thanks.

Use the nhs website if you’ve been jabbed. I took a screenshot and just showed it to them. Could have been anyone’s! They didn’t check.
Once we were in yesterday I can’t recall seeing barely anyone wearing a mask. Think they’ve given up.
I’d get there early but make sure you take drinks with you before you get on the tube. Wembley Way was carnage, brilliant atmosphere fantastic experience.
