Trippier in, Saka out 15:36 - Jul 11 with 1469 viewstractordownsouth

Is the leaked team being banded around. So far, all of these predicted lineups have been accurate so will assume it's true. Surprised at the 3-5-2, thought we'd be unchanged and I'd probably have stuck with what we had but can't really doubt Southgate after how well we've done so far.

Come on Engerland.

Probably wants that extra man in midfield to try and nullify one of Italy’s strengths.

Which is all very well but it means the only attacking places we have are Mount, Sterling and Kane.

Southgate has got it right so far so mustn't doubt him but we do need to score as well.

Yeah I can understand that. Although the 4-2-3-1 gives us 3 midfielders plus 2 fast widemen who can hurt Italy's ageing defence.

Not going to kick up a fuss though, Southgate has proven doubters wrong with his selections so far and I'm sure we'll see Grealish, Sancho etc eventually.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Henderson start either.

Not a surprise I don’t think.

Key will be to get on top off Jorginho, he’s been brilliant for the italians all tournament.

I think it’ll be a case of nullify first then use subs to hurt them as they tire and age impacts. Plus we have depth in attack.

Love the way everyone says about the Italian aged defence. They weren't that tiered the other night. Experienced enough to conserve energy for 120 mins if needed.

But they will be tired when he throws on Grealish et al and are missing their star player at the back. Recognition of that isn’t the same as saying it’ll be easy as you seem to assume.
