Cricket itself is ok, been a bit mixed but that happens, and still been doing a bit of work so not paid attention to the weird over lengths.
The colour scheme on the graphics is really jarring, like something a two year old on a sugar rush might reject as too bright:
Also the display of the actual scores is all over the place, not sure if t helps the uninitiated much but it's unnecessarily irritating too. |  |

Initial thoughts, from bbc coverage:
-They’ve brought the boundaries in loads! Assume they’ll be brought back a lot for the men’s game or it’ll be torture for the bowlers
-I like helmet cam
-I like the uniforms
-I’m not sure about the tv graphics. My mother likes them though and she’s 80
-Carlos brathwaite is cool
-Tuffers and Vaughan aren’t
-not sure what else it offers that T20 doesn’t
As a cricket purist it’s not aimed at me but Im not sat here thinking I want to smash my tv in, so on balance it’s positive |  | | |

Well your last sentence is most likely the key to the whole thing. If it can get kids interested and more importantly keep them interested, it’s no bad thing.
