Just had a delivery including what I would have termed a 'toilet/cistern float valve'. It's the common type where the pipework enters the cistern from the bottom, not the side as many used to.
Being of a juvenile mindset, I can't help giggling that it is called a 'bottom entry fill valve' these days, particularly when I envisage the situation where a plumber might have the name Phillip Valve.
On a similar note, I often see a van about for 'ICP plumbing', which also tickles me.
Sorry.

Van signage is an odd one. I saw this the other month.....

The "Diaper" part comes from the name of the founders (back in Haughley in 1911) - the logo on the van graphically represents the Diaper name via the rhombic shape containing the English flag...
Just one small problem; sell their houses to who, Ben? Fcking Aquaman?

Good explanation!
However it still looks less than appealing when it's delivering chicken to the restaurant for those not in the know :).

Many years ago I worked for a company that had a “bottom warehouse”.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
