Just feel we need to temper our expectations a little. Parrott had and has a slot of plaudits from Spurs' fans, but there were a few Town fans that were a little underwhelmed by him last season and he had more experience than Barry. Barry is a young lad starting out on his professional career, lets not expect the world but allow him that time to find his feet and flourish. |  |

The head of WBA academy went to Villa taking a load of their best prospects with him, Barry had known him since his early days, hence the move to Villa. Barca picked up a fair chunk in compensation but have yet to pay a penny to WBA for poaching him in the first place. |  | | |

I think he is going to be an amazing player. I wish he was a permanent signing.
I also wish Hayden Coulson was going as a permanent signing.
Both outstanding quality signings. We are in for a great season and it's so fantastic to be a team on the up again.
I am sad not to be at Portman road today for the first game of the new era but 3 friends came down with Covid on Monday who had all been double jabbed and it made my wife really nervous about me going. I think it will be fine however so don't mean to put any one off. | | | |

But thankfully we arent holding all our Hopes on him like we had with Parrott.
