Think it was back at about 01.20, ideally via Worcestershire Parkway or somesuch. Also requires a sprint back to the station post-match for 22.13 train but I calculated it was doable. Still tempted-ish as am then going away for a couple of weeks and weekend games look iffy for some time after that. | |

I always find it odd that there are no direct trains from Cheltenham to Oxford, except via Worcester.

If you want to avoid the main traffic, book it to pick you up from a little away from the ground if you can. Whaddon Road is pretty much stationary for 30 minutes after the game, so a taxi getting in and then out again will make it tight.

I'm not sure cotswold Kebab is still there?? But I've not been into town for ages.
Prestbury Road only bad from the junction of Whaddon Road far as Pittville Circus then it clears. If you are walking into town, you should be able to pick one up at the rank on The Prom, from there, its 10 mins with traffic. Or the Andycars office is still on Bennington Street. | |
