i know it was a genuine question. it just feels like we have our own ipswich town inner circle of hell that we're doomed to go round and round for all eternity.

At some point, when we haven't won a game in 10, there will be a decision that needs to be made.
If you don't think that the Americans have been on the phone about this the you are dreaming.

I really like PC - as far as personality and enthusiasm goes - but we all know what his job is and he is clearly not doing it.

Did an excellent job at Oxford under O’Leary, worked with Ashton at WBA - he’d be their man if Cook goes

And importantly as you said yesterday, Cook is not their man

I respect Keno and Plug. Plug sent me a few PMs in the past and seemed a decent bloke (just like several of the others that have departed from here in recent weeks). Not sure what BP's etiquette was like on the board overall though as I don't follow every thread closely. I think B.Plug had been a board member for a good number of years. Probably longer than me. Any idea why he left? I did see the thread where he asked a similar question to Keno (in this one) although I didn't follow it that closely. I saw just enough to see he was getting plenty of pelters so perhaps he subsequently decided that the board wasn't for him any longer. Although I'm only speculating. When you don't feel welcome it's probably a lot easier to turn your back than if you do feel welcome.

Plug was a rotten egg who opposed the taking of the knee.
Another one who also came on here after a few beers, spouting nonsense.
Glad to see he finally crawled off into a dark corner.

I would opt for the highly experienced Sheila Fern in goal. If she brings to the penalty area what she brought to our TV screens as George & Mildred's next-door neighbour then our problems in that area of the pitch should immediately disappear. Confident, loyal, and very focused.

I quite fancied her , she was in the Likely lads too , played James Bolam,s sister

I prefer to look for the good in people rather than the bad. We've all got good and bad in our hearts.

I wish him well, as I do all the others that have left here in recent weeks.

Break the bank, Eddie Howe,

Its not a case of breaking the bank. He won't manage at League One level. He's currently waiting for a prem opportunity

Didn’t really have to go looking for the bad, he displayed it quite openly but didn’t enjoy being pulled up on it.
I admire your tolerance and wise counsel though. It is probably a far wiser approach.
