Just bought my ticket for the Portsmouth away game. It will be my first game of the season and first ever going on my own! I'm a little nervous to be honest but mainly excited.

@ OP - Fratton Park is an easy 15 minute walk from the station. You’ll pass a couple of Pompey faithful community boozers along the way but nothing too heavy. Getting into the ground with isn’t the most beautiful experiences especially if it’s raining. You’ll probably have to navigate a few rain drenched pot holes and squeeze down the back of an 80’s-esq narrow walk way to get in but old school grounds are worth it for those quirks.

Do it all the time, football, cricket, theatre, art exhibitions, music gigs. I live out in the sticks and 90% of the bands I'm into I don't know anyone who would have even heard of them, let alone want to go with me to see them so I'll go on my own. |  |
