If he decided to get pissed on the day of the game in contravention of rules decided upon by team bosses that would also be his right and he also wouldn't have broken any laws. He would face sanctions for breaking agreed rules though, and rightly so. If he feels so strongly about not taking the knee then he doesn't have to do it, but there will be consequences. I also have to question why someone would be so vehemently against taking the knee that they would go down that route. | |

I believe De Kock has previously been quite outspoken in support of Black rights so I don't think it's as simple as him being racist. We had him on a virtual event a while back and he's a pretty unusual guy so I can imagine him struggling to express what he means in the right way. |  |
