Does anyone else have a horrid suspicion that saving the world will be nigh on impossible without getting rid of capitalism? (in order to massive reduce consumerism)

Capitalism has served its purpose, time to get rid. When a handful of people control the kind of wealth that could fund the world going carbon neutral within a decade and yet we're willing to let the planet die so they can get even richer, you know things have gone tits up.

consumerism rather than capitalism in itself. in the rich world self-realisation seems now to come via buying stuff to the point where it's difficult to imagine how people would live while consuming less stuff. it's a drug where each successive purchase fails to fill the void and the only solution is then to consume more.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

It's important to start with the coarse grade and then finish off with a fine wet and dry.

This place would become very quiet if you banned wet wipes.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.
