Any tips for playing in an actual proper team please? 13:35 - Nov 5 with 2186 views | giant_stow | (look at me!) I finally made the over 45s squad and am looking at the honour of 5 mins on at the end as a sub in midfield - wo! Anyone got any tips on how to play football and not make a fool of yourself? Unfortunately, Abdul got left out and isn't very happy about it. Team politics is new to me.

Any tips for playing in an actual proper team please? on 16:56 - Nov 5 with 403 views | Coastalblue | I think it's 20 years since my last 11 a side game, I was horrendously bad but somehow got picked every week, I put it down to shouting a lot like I know what I'm doing and kicking somebody up in the air every ten minutes or so.

Any tips for playing in an actual proper team please? on 20:48 - Nov 5 with 307 views | Swansea_Blue | The last time I played I felt like I was a cross between Ramos, Hoddle and Cruyff. The trouble is, people kept laughing at me and so you probably don't want any advice from me. If it's an over 45 team, console yourself that you won't have to deal with 20 year olds buzzing around and everyone will be equally unfit (or at least you can become as unfit as them with a bit of practice). Other than that, just enjoy it and don't take it too seriously.

Any tips for playing in an actual proper team please? on 12:07 - Nov 6 with 255 views | ITFC_1988 | I’m awful at football but love playing. But a quote from Joey Barton (shudder) is something that I try to do, which is take the ball off players better than me, and immediately pass to players better than me. Seems to do the trick and that way I feel that I’m contributing without doing anything too fancy (which I am incapable of doing).
