You do this when it suits though. I was challenging something which has no evidence the other day - the idea that Norwood has a poor attitude to training and fitness - and you were quite happy to join the pile-on against me in that instance.

I posted twice on that thread, both about "character" and both in a light-hearted way. I am not sure you can separate character into off-field and on-field character in the way you were doing - it's all character.

I wasn't saying you have issues or being insulting or aggressive.

This thread is people not wanting to be challenged on their views, saying I have issues and that I should leave the board.

To call than at equivalence is a huge stretch in my opinion.

Whether it was light-hearted or not, it came on the back of a pile-on when all I was doing was what you espouse - establishing facts.

Rather than simply hold your hands up and say fair point, you've tried to wriggle just as much as you accuse false-Covid-info spreaders of doing so. Yes, of course you can separate on-field character from off-field character. There are countless examples of players who are nice as pie off the pitch and absolute sods on it. And you know full well that Norwood being done for drink driving or posting a few inflammatory comments on twitter has no bearing on how well he trains. People have decided he's lazy FFS. Where is the equivalence there?

For what it's worth I agree with you on the Covid stuff, absolutely defend your right to keep posting it (and in fact applaud it), and hope you aren't bullied off the board. I'm with you in the fight for truth, facts, logic and science and I'd be grateful if you backed me up rather than join in with the mob, even if slagging off one of our players seems trivial. If people can't critically assess something like that then they've got no chance with Covid.
