He'd had a pretty quiet half but that's what he's capable of.
Overall it's been a pretty even game that we're winning 2-0 through two moments of individual quality. It'd be nice if at some point we had a gameplan beyond sticking good players on the pitch and hoping they produce something. |  |

He did what he's known for ( and what he did when here under Mick and became a fan fav)
Still don't think we've got the balance right of how to use him and Chaplin together. Celina on the left has left clements looking for help when on the ball as Celina has drifted to the 10 position alot that half.
If we can get that balance sorted, Celina can flourish imo.
Great to see Aluko have a nice tidy half to. Did say when he joined, one of the best players at the club and he shows it. |  |

Maybe he's been told to drift in and possibly interchange and he's the only one doing the interchanging correctly?
You have no idea and neither do I. Your immediate assumption though is that he's doing something wrong. If he had stayed on the left the whole time he wouldn't have scored that goal.
He worked had that half, got back to defend when needed in my opinion. He can of course do more and I hope he does, just still think he gets a bad rap on here.

SB, I didn't say he was doing anything wrong, and indeed he may have been told do that as second half he's been much more touchline based. | |
