What has he achieved in his managerial career? Have I missed something? Failed promotion attempts at Derby. Mid table with Chelsea before he was sacked who went on to finish top 4 and win the CL.

What's the obsession with Lampard? on 13:57 - Dec 8 with 483 views | footers | At least he's not a racist thug like Terry. So he has that going for him. Would also be the first Town manager who's also a children's author. Unless I've overlooked anyone there... 'When I Were a Lad in Barnsley' - M McCarthy

Paul Hurst won a couple of regional cup competitions in Lincolnshire and we wet the bed when he was appointed. It doesn't take a genius to work out which of those two was the better appointment!

He's not done terribly. But maybe a 'big name' would inspire our lads a bit. They certainly need some inspiration.
| Trust the process. Trust Phil. |

What's the obsession with Lampard? on 14:02 - Dec 8 with 416 views | J2BLUE | Decent job at Derby IMO. Decent job at Chelsea and felt he was sacked too soon. Obviously in hindsight Tuchel has been amazing but I think Lampard did well and most of his signings are now coming good. He would be an inspired choice IMO but I don't think it's realistic in any way.

What's the obsession with Lampard? on 14:06 - Dec 8 with 378 views | itfcsuth | I don't think anybody has even come close to being obsessed? He did well at Derby, and his first season at Chelsea, was sacked by Chelsea after a run of 3 defeats in 7 which I don't think is tragic, but they are a cutthroat club. My concern would be the fear he would want a decent chunk of transfer funds, along with a decent chunk on his salary, I just think its out of reach for us. [Post edited 8 Dec 2021 14:06]
