That seems an odd purchase, I know they were in the PL a few years ago, but you would have thought they have reached their ceiling in the Championship, add in the fact that it is a predominately Rugby League based town, it seems like the returns wouldn't warrant the initial investment.

Huddersfield is most certainly not a Rugby league town, and never has been, despite being the home of it's inception.
The Giants barely muster half of HTFC's attendance on pretty much any given matchday, and despite ground sharing, they are minorty stakeholders in the Stadium.

Having his investment without having his making telling decisions or running the Club (down) might not be a bad thing. He might be a terrible owner, but we do know he won't let the Club fold and there might come a time, hopefully not, when his voice stops us being sold to the wrong people. |  |
