Would you offer Celina a permanent deal in the summer? 14:10 - Feb 15 with 5487 viewshype313

Still got 2 years on his Dijon contract, but they are languishing in the second tier, could easily get pulled into another relegation.

We could probably get him at a reduced rate given their current plight.

Eh? He's not even in the top 15.

I love Celina by the way.

Top assists per 90 mins, as per Joe's stat a few posts ago.

Assuming we can afford him and it doesn't destabilise anything wage wise, then yes of course. Not sure what goes through a Town fan's head to say no. Very little perhaps :)

Very true. The games I have seen, he’ll show some terrific bits of ability and then goes missing and you forget he’s on the pitch. However, like I said previously I’ve not watched all our games this season.

He was generally crap in one or two games, but even in one of those scored the winner.

He's a class apart and I'd sign him up in a heartbeat if there's the opp. We will need to be promoted I would have thought :)

People take it so personally if some don’t agree with their own view, it’s ok to have a differing opinion we don’t all have to think and see the same thing. I suppose similar to that of Steve Cooper who let Celina leave Swansea, but he seems to have built himself a very good managerial reputation both at the Swans and now at Forest.

It's just a silly throwaway comment, most posters are anonymous. Don't take it personally Chrisders :)

Depends?

I don't think we're realistically going to recruit a better attacking midfielder at this level and if he'd played in most of our 32 games he'd be right at the top of the division for combined assists and goals.

The depends is just about money, squad planning and development. How much of his contract are we covering, what percentage of our wage bill is it? Where else could we spending that money? MK Dons have probably seen Scott Twine's value increase by £5m+ already, something we'll never see if we loan in players in the mid-20s.

As a player, we'd be mad not to. As a club that has to put together the best possible squad of 20 players and ultimately has to make money on selling players? Not so clear.

Swansea are in the Championship.

And that's my point. For all his reputed ability, he has struggled to establish himself and lets not forget he wasn't a guaranteed starter under MM here either. For someone of his ability he should be playing at a higher level than L1 and playing consistently, but he isn't and that's now happened at a few clubs, both here and abroad under different managers. I'm not saying that I don't think he's a good player because I can see that and certainly when he's playing well, but why isn't he playing in a higher brand of football and doing it week in, week out? Is it the physicality he struggles with over here?

Depends if the deal was right. If you could get him on a sensible L1 wage, absolutely I would. he's a talented flair player, who can make you pull your hair out or produce a match winning moment.

A very good option at League 1 level.

I loved Dozzell, but let's be honest he's a class above Andre.
