Where do I seek to defend them. ? I made it abundantly clear that these sources of income should cease given the current circumstances. By the way I am well aware of “Unexplained Wealth Orders” I did not need to resort to the internet for this. I entirely agree that under the current circumstances our government should be acting much more quickly. There really was no need for the insults. Quite frankly you were just trying to get in cheap shots . |

If you knew about unexplained wealth orders you would not have posted what you did - inferring that the onus was to prove the money was 'dishonest'. It is not.
Nothing in either of your posts suggests "our government should be acting much more quickly", in fact they more point towards your disagreeing with what is currently being done.
Nor was there any suggestion that these sources of income should cease". The reality is actually they won't, as I suspect anyone taking a cursory look at the media recently will be aware.

Sounds like the UK are really leading the way on sanctions.... by itfcjoe 28 Feb 2022 8:46....and the support for Ukraine in bringing down Russia and it's economy.
Dragging the EU and the USA along with it.
The West feels very united on this, maybe the UK is finding it's place in the world a little bit post-Brexit - just a shame it is taking such horrible circumstances
