That’s nonsense.

We concede nothing, score more than we concede and have averaged over 2 points per game since Christmas.

The only problem is our competitors for the POs are also showing that form and we have 6 points to make up, so need to be getting closer to 3 point a game.

It’s still possible of course, but needs 1 of probably Oxford or Sunderland to mess up. Sunderland have picked up under their new manager and Oxford are on fire and doing better than us. I reckon we’ll end up 2-3 points short if things carry on as they have been.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Our only and biggest problem is we can't beat those at the top end of the table.

We won't win everygame, we will draw and lose again bottom clubs etc but you counter that by winning some top end games. Our record at that is shocking.

a niche perspective

Both could mess up - but with Sheff Weds and Plymouth having 2 games in hand they would simply fill in.

And I am not sure how many of those have four games against the top six still to come.

I wonder if the disallowed goal will be decisive at the end

Win next Saturday erases today doesn't it? 2 ppg from our hard fixtures, more from our easy ones does the job imo.

Bolton 0-2
Wednesday 0-1
MK Dons 0-0
Cheltenham 0-0
Morecambe 1-1
Portsmouth 0-0

One goal in six games and we basically did enough in four of them to win, arguably against MK Dons too but that was a much tighter affair. However, we were not good enough in the final third. In one way it's great that we are dominating and getting the ball up front but it's frustrating how often we struggle to take the final step.

You’ve just posted a list of the six games that McKenna has failed to win. What kind of narrative is this? No flow to these results. Just the fact that we’ve scored 1 goal in the 6 games that he hasn’t won.

Do I reply with listing the 9 games he has won? We’ve scored at least 1 goal in each of these you know.

I’m lost for words.
