So quite a bit more disastrous than our start then. It would have been better if Cook, and Lambert before him, had been utterly rubbish rather than just not good enough. With the occasional mini run, they left enough doubt that they may be able to turn things around and were both given too much time (sounds harsh on Cook, but he made no impact in his first season and we knew we were off target well before he went - results business and all that). | |
