Derby fan here asking what to expect in League One 13:04 - Jul 8 with 12686 views | MellyMel55 | So what's it like in League One ? I've heard rumours of shocking referees and horrendous time wasting but just wanted the thoughts from fans of a similar sized recent Championship club ? Quality of football, treatment from other teams fans etc. All the best

I disagree. I was at the Wigan home game in back rows of Upper North. Difficult to get a good view of action at Churchmans end. See it very clearly on iFollow.

I'm glad you are looking forward to my answer March day ticket at PR I wouldn't be purchasing as I wouldn't be travelling to ipswich due to other commitments. However watching it online. I am able to watch it whilst my payment for the service in part goes to the club.. even if its 50p they've made 50p more from me than the 0 they would have made had I not watched it at all. Hope you're happy.

How are you watching home matches legally in the UK out of interest? Others may want to be able to do the same. Do tell.

Derby fan here asking what to expect in League One on 15:21 - Jul 8 with 1022 views | quirkie | It is really two leagues in one. Plymouth missed out on the play offs last season and they got 80 pts!! That would have got them automatic in league 2. Basically an no real disrespect, there are 9 or 10 really tin pot teams in this league who will treat a game against the "bigger" sides as their cup final and sh!ithouse, time waste and cheat their way to a point. Enjoy.

Derby fan here asking what to expect in League One on 13:45 - Jul 8 by MellyMel55 | Must admit it was bewildering to see how many points were needed just to make the playoffs last season in League One Not much margin for error there then Any list of teams to look out for sh1thousery style ? |
Look at the league table, take out maybe 4 or 5 teams and you'll have yourself an accurate list.

So all those Saturdays last season when you claimed to be watching, you were either not telling the truth or you made the many hundred miles trip to outside the UK just to watch it? I bet you're Trigger aren't you. 'But you live closer to Portman Road than the Netherlands. In fact, you have to go past Portman Road to get to The Netherlands'. 'I know. But Del said I could watch it on iFollow!'.

Let's be honest here, he's watching Ifollow on a firestick which has all the sports, films, entertainment known to man, illegally. To then talk about watching town through a camera which takes 5 minutes to catch up with play, constantly freezes, buffers and then tells us all who go to PR that we don't see the real game. Didn't a number of the owners all say it was night and day watching on Ifollow to actually being there? Think we all know the reasons why.

Derby fan here asking what to expect in League One on 15:28 - Jul 8 with 965 views | Freddies_Ears | Away days are more fun than in the higher leagues - stewarding and policing is more relaxed, and there are even a few proper terraces. Fleetwood have a tiny 'firm' of teenagers, and a minority of AFC Wombles can be absolute bellends.

Firestick? Bit odd. Never used one. I've not said anything about what you see. My reply to the OP was that teams timewaste park bus and celebrate draws. Upto you if you feel you can't see this online.

Not so. Back then I had just started going to away matches although not many. On the day of the Bradford fire disaster in 1985, I was watching us at Newport County, Somerton Park in Div 3. 4 years later, we came 5th in Div 1 (premiership for the younger viewers) under a previous owner Robert Maxwell, we sure know how to pick them !! 1st time in League One for Pride Park though. Classed as a 'new' stadium but next week is the 25th anniversary of the Queen opening the stadium. Time flies [Post edited 8 Jul 2022 15:36]

So basically you and the many others doing the same are lying dishonest scum, regardless of any money the club gets. Get up off your arse and attend a game. If you can't do that go watch a local team. Football us only live if you're actually there.

Interesting take. Is Wimbledon showing highlights of norrie at the moment or is it a live semi final?

It's on a TV channel that we all pay for and are allowed to watch. Unlike, doing so illegally.

Derby fan here asking what to expect in League One on 16:02 - Jul 8 with 813 views | BonneNIL | Everyone dives. Everyone plays for added-on-time. The referees and linesmen are absolutely awful. Non-football teams do well, teams with a bit more ability and try and play the game well don't seem to do so well. Teams will turn up at your ground to nick 1-0's or 1-1 draws and will play negatively to achieve that. Most fans are pretty good, only had problems with Fleetwood, Tranmere, and one other I can't recall since coming down.

Well actually old fashioned TV was as close to live as you can get. Satellite, cable, streaming all have delays, maybe only seconds but that means it's not live. Compare a mw radio commentary with a stream, cable or satellite. You'll see the delay.
