Very impressive stuff at times today 20:36 - Aug 13 with 3607 viewstextbackup

So many positives to take from it. from Ladapo leading the line selflessly, Burns getting a goal, JD once again playing fantastic, Harness really shining, and Davis looking every part the £1m fullback.

But looking at it from a "where do we improve" perspective....

- Wolf had a very poor game IMO, and i rate him highly normally. Could see another 2/3 games like that an he'll find himself on the bench with Keogh slipping in his place.

- our final ball. had we won that 6-0 today it woulld have been deserved, but we waste so many chances due to that final killer ball.

- a goal scorer to come on. would be great to have someone to come on as a sub with 20 to go that gave a real goal threat, and can chip in with 5-10 over a season, i just cant see that with the forwards we have on the bench.

MK dons - respect for trying to play football, they are doing it the right way, but we wont have many easier games than that this season IMO. played right into our hands. if theyd stuck 10 behind the ball i'm not sure we'd be as happy as we are right now.

However, 3 games in, unbeaten, and sitting top. lovely old day

We need a goalscorer, if we had one we would have won 6-0 yesterday.

In tight games when one goal matters we end up drawing as we have not got a killer upfront.

No team is successful without a 15+ goal striker and the lad we have is not going to do it. We need to spend the £££ to get someone in as Jackson is the same, no goal threat.

How many chances did Ladapo miss? He will get goals, he's proven that several times at this level. He's also the perfect foil for the likes of Chaplin and Harness. We do need another striker in a similar mould to him though.

The same lad that scored 15 goals last season?

Not sure how you can say ANY defender "had a very poor game" after a clean-sheet win.

When it comes to Woolfenden it isn’t for the want of trying to give them a goal. He is so talented but he has a habit of being careless which he needs to get out of. In fairness, I do wonder whether it’s an early season thing as similar happened last year, and he was much sharper when he returned to the team in January.

That or he needs a kick up the backside to wake up, which a fit Keogh should provide.

I don't remember a glaring error by him yesterday that was "trying to give them a goal." And I think Fridge makes quite a few dozing errors too. But I wouldn't describe either of them as "very poor" in any game this season.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Think Wolfenden said himself he is quite laid back. Think at times it shows in games.. there's no sense danger sometimes to him which causes problems.

Agreed very poor is harsh - but glaring, unnecessary errors, yes.

I'd be more worried if we weren't replacing davis for leigh tbh.. means both get game time. Davis can run his as off for 6o odd minutes and then we have leigh to bust a gut for 30.

He sometimes has a bit of Titus about him when he seems to lose concentration...he looked to have sorted this in the second half of last season and although he's had a couple of lapses this season I'm sure Kmac will be working to prevent them again.

Our first pass of the game was from him to their player. Set the tone for his afternoon IMO.

Sloppy, gave it away in 2/3 important positions.

I noticed this more than Fridge I guess because I rate Wolf so highly. I just don’t want KMc to have a reason to get Keogh in there and Wolf lose his place.

(Even though I’d be very comfortable with Keoghs experience in the team)

And he’s not finished 1 of them - ain’t that a worry
With all due respect spending that amount of money on a relatively unknown left back is crazy IMO
Irregardless how much I know it don’t know about football !

I think it goes to show the depth of our squad that he hasn’t finished a game.

You know he’s not being subbed because he’s injured or the manager thinks he’s crap right?
