Anyone got any top tips for a good sofa place? 12:33 - Aug 21 with 3299 views | The_Flashing_Smile | Looking for a mustard or turmeric coloured one and finding it a bit tricky to find the perfect one. We've particularly been looking at the sofas that come in a box - quick and easy to get in, and a mate has one which is pretty comfy. Snug look good but they're out of turmeric. Any other places we might not have considered that you'd recommend (doesn't have to be in a box!)?

Anyone got any top tips for a good sofa place? on 20:45 - Aug 21 with 1414 views | BlueForYou | I recently bought one from Glasswells. Wasn't cheap, but so comfortable & the service is impeccable. They have many different ranges & options in-store. I also bought a matching sideboard, which developed a small crack in one of the legs, they are replacing the whole unit without any questions. Thoroughly recommend, but it might help to be close to Bury St Edmunds.

hmmm... we have a loaf sofa. I can highly recommend them. However, I'm reasonably certain that my Mrs' has the details of the company that supplies loaf, as we were gutted we missed out after our purchase. PM me if you want the details, but I think it was about 20% - 25% cheaper than loaf and way more options in terms of design etc. That said, I don't think they are strictly meant to sell to the public - but happy to share if it'll help. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Anyone got any top tips for a good sofa place? on 16:08 - Aug 24 with 955 views | Dubtractor | I hear DFS have a sale on at the moment........ Mrs Dub* tends to get our furniture from a company called Made. No idea how they compare with others for price, though I'm sure they won't be the cheapest out there, but the bits we have are all good quality and last well. https://www.made.com/sofas-and-armchairs/sofas *I tend to let her do all the searching and shortlisting then I get final selection choices. It's a win/win system - I feel like I've made the choice, and she makes sure that I choose from an acceptable selection.

Anyone got any top tips for a good sofa place? on 16:57 - Aug 24 with 922 views | Oldsmoker | Have you checked your local Auction house. First time I went (1982) I was looking for a coffee table and some lamps. I bought a farmhouse pine table for £25 instead. It seats 6 comfortably but 10 at a squeeze. It fills a room but it's so big you can eat at one end and have the computer/printer etc at the other. Second-hand may not be your thing as you've said in reply to other posters but you'll be amazed at what's for sale. The Auction houses do preview days before the sale and it's a way better waste of an afternoon than Ikea .
