My sleep pattern's constantly a mess so I might give some of that a try.

That's a short step away from the national dish of Canada, Poutine. Made properly, Poutine has cheese curds rather than a hard cheese like cheddar.

Mind you, it's -40 for 6 months of the year in much of Canada, so they need fuelling up.

Poutine was what they called it actually when they introduced me to it.

The two girls were brought up in Kuwait so presumably it was also popular over there. Remember first having it on a night out with them and thinking upon looking at it that I was a certainty to throw it back up. But it was surprisingly very tasty. Have had it sober a few times since when going back up north to see them.

Poll: Would you take a draw tonight if offered right now?

Seeing as my bike got nicked I think I'll start with the banana, honey and yogurt.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Not to be confused with putain. Order one of them in French Canada and you might get more than you bargained for.

Pub called the Spread Eagle in York used to do something called the "UFO" - an enormous yorkshire pudding filled with onion gravy and roast beef - washed down with Timothy Taylors Landlord - does that count?

On a similar note there was a place in Durham that used to do a Dog bowl on a Sunday for about a fiver. I was a student up there and it was quite the treat, roast beef with all the trimmings, literally served up in a dog bowl.

I hope they did not give you cutlery for the full effect. Funnily enough, neither of my daughters who have been students there have mentioned that delicacy - either it is no longer available or there may not have been a vegetarian option
