Loan watch 22:03 - Oct 8 with 3113 views | unstableblue | Baggot has been away on international duty and whilst away Gills form has slightly ticked up.. and today that resulted in him warming the bench and not getting an appearance, as the Kent side drew 1-1 away at Crewe. Our young whizz kid defender had been a regular up till his trip to Asia. Exeter are on good form and had one of the results of League One today, beating in form Barnsley 2-0 away. And our Rakeen Harper played the full 90mins in central midfield. He is now cementing a starting place week in week out. The star of this season’s loanees has been El Mizouni at high flying League 2 Leyton Orient… unfortunately he was subbed at half time and is off having a scan on a hamstring injury that may keep him out for weeks. Orient remain second, 2 points off leaders Stevenage with a game in hand. Burton pulled off a good 1-1 draw away at Peterborough, but our young centre back Ndaba is no where to be seen again. No league appearances I believe, and not even on bench today. I believe he’s made 1 pizza cup game. Injured? Or not rated? A mixed week for our loanees

Loan watch on 10:20 - Oct 9 by bournemouthblue | Could be a shrewd move from Forest Green, if Wickham continues as that kind of form, people are going to think he is back |
Still a long way to go until January. But if we keep scoring as we are why would we want to?

Loan watch on 10:31 - Oct 9 by itfcjoe | His contract is up in January, wonder if he is one we may look at then |
Was thinking the same Joe. If he has made 20 or so appearances and bagged a few more goals by Christmas for them, he may well be worth considering, he would be ideal as there is no doubting his ability. Very interesting.

I think that striker position is our weak link. It's fine if others are contributing with goals and we're winning, but they'll be games where we only get the odd chance and we want our striker to take that chance. If we want automatic promotion we've got to keep winning and not have too many slip ups. Maybe there's stats to prove it, but I don't think we are the most clinical side and need a lot of chances to score.

The stats actually show the opposite. We have the highest shot conversion rate in the League. Taking the most shots and scoring the most goals from them. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/chancenverwertung/wettbewerb/GB3
