Man City did it years ago and their players actually won trophies

The state of the thread and replies - the whole concept crumbles under any scrutiny and the OP keeps moving the goalposts to ensure Norwich keep hold of this 'honour'.

Sums their fanbase up, absolutely tragic.

The whole account is weird. A quick scroll through the timeline and there’s at least 4 tweets about ITFC just in the last day. One mocking us for celebrating our win yesterday and the other one weirdly brings up Mick McCarthy. Rent free in those yellow bastard heads.

Uruguayan Adrián Charquero Paz (just the one goal)
Argentine Mauricio Ricardo Taricco (scored four which is one more than Sixto, stopped the opposition scoring a whole lot more)
Guyanese Reiss Greenidge only played for us one and didn't score
Can we count Trinidad and Tobago as South America ? Carlos Edwards scored nine for us.

I wouldn't count Trinidad and Tobago, personally, not least because in football terms it falls under CONCACAF not CONMEBOL.

But we don't need to, because the greatest footballers ever* from Suriname, Gustav Uhlenbeek and Fabian Wilnis, played, and scored, for ITFC.

*Edgar Davids, Clarence Seedorf and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink push them close.

A certain ITFC 1987 player of the year was also born in Suriname of course...
