So who thought it a good idea to leave that Dublin Regulation. Why, Brexit thickos, that's who.
Has it not occurred to you why the numbers have increased since the UK finally left the EU. There is no simple piece of legislation to automatically deport these people any more. You cannot simply put them on a plane if the other country will not accept them
So what was once available, as with trade deals, the UK is having to trawl round, conceding stuff just to try to get back some of what it had before.
If you had watch Braverman in Parliament this afternoon you would have seen someone tied up in knots, unable/unwilling to answer questions.
One being how many more immigration officials could have been hired for the £120m wasted in Rwanda.
Everyone was to blame bar the government of the last 12 years.

To be fair that BBC link says 18% so nowhere near the 60%/80% mentioned.
I don't know enough about why people are coming to the UK and am not one to argue the situation is acceptable either.
But it's not acceptable for people who are running from persecution either and the first thing to ask is why there isn't a proper system in place anymore to accept the applications with some dignity.
So it's not only that people shouldn't be entering the country for processing in this way, it is also that they shouldn't have to. |  |

Yea, I can see your concern. About 75% of applications for asylum are granted.
So why is it that asylum seekers, many of which are vulnerable people, including children, are being housed in the same over crowded accommodation as illegal male migrants for so long.
You wouldn’t get to a crime scene grab all the witnesses and perpetrators, and put them all in the same cell.

It is like this Government wants to put off the genuine asylum seekers even more than those who will be sent back anyway. Hence why they work hard to demonise them all as well. | |

Why does the gender make a difference?
Minorities are fairly poorly treated in Albania, you'd need far more information that you've cited to draw the conclusions that you have.
What you really want is an effective and fast system for determining who has a legitimate claim for asylum, given the Tories have been in power for 12 years perhaps you should direct some criticism towards them for not being competent enough to put this in place.
